Waylon Jones, born with a rare genetic condition resembling epidermodysplasia verruciformis, is better known as Killer Croc. His condition caused his skin to become progressively tougher, scaly, and crocodile-like, granting him superhuman strength, stamina, and durability.
Abandoned by his mother and raised by an abusive aunt, Waylon spent his youth in and out of juvenile detention facilities. He eventually turned to a life of crime in Gotham City, exploiting his reptilian mutations for his advantage. His appearance and physical abilities made him a formidable adversary to Batman.
